artist: Katrina grew up in Orange County California. {Don't tell her parents, but she prefers the small town charm of Midway}. After studying Early Childhood Education, French, and Dance at Brigham Young University, she followed a childhood dream and entered UNLV's Architecture Grad Program. Graduating in Landscape Architecture and Summers spent abroad in France and then again in Italy, she discovered a love affair for art and design. While in Nevada, she worked as a planner for the City of Las Vegas, for a design build firm, and a private Landscape Architecture firm alongside her newly wedded husband. After having their first child, they decided to move back to his home within the Heber Valley. At night she found herself yearning to create again and filled her evenings painting in watercolors and then in oil. In the day she nurtures and teaches 3 small children; creating with them by cooking, crafting, drawing, and painting. Once they are asleep you will find her painting away in her studio. Her work is found in private collections across the United States as well as in Europe & South America.
