| Angie Price grew up in Great Falls, Virginia and received a Bachelor's in Fine Arts from James Madison University concentrating in metal and jewelry in 1995. For the past three years she has been making jewelry full time. Inspired by a father with a love of physics and astronomy many of her designs show fundamental forms found in the universe. Specifically the line, circle, and ellipse dominate her designs. Hence the name of her new line: Apsides (AP' SI DEZ') n.pl. Either of two points in an eccentric orbit, the long axis of the Moon's orbit (the line of Apsides). This jewelry line incorporates these ideas using sterling silver, 12kt gold-filled, stones and glass.
