About the art
Felix's wild life and Native American Indian portraits are presented in a
unique compromise of both realism and surrealism. The one-of-a-kind art is
created using the natural contours, fractures, mineral stains and
fossil-like attributes native to several types of stone, primarily
sandstone, quartzite and slate. Customized table tops and mantels are also
created from this same stone which derives from the local area of Southern
Utah, Idaho and Arizona, with the exception of the slate, which comes from
as far away as India.
